Foli – La marque

foli

The brand

Foli is an artisanal brand born in Paris, between flea markets, thrift shops and a passion for craftsmanship. I create a sensitive and timeless wardrobe, where each piece begins with the discovery of a fabric.

I work exclusively with existing textiles: antique sheets, end-of-roll fabrics, forgotten curtains and lace… Each fabric is chosen for its texture, softness, light and the story it already carries.

Here, the fabric does not adapt to the design, the creation emerges from the material itself.

This way of creating gives life to unique pieces or very small series, never reproduced identically.

Foli celebrates a free, instinctive and delicate femininity. Clothing designed to move through seasons, to be passed on, and to evolve over time.

A universe inspired by white linen in the sun, Mediterranean summers, lace, dried flowers, curtains moving in the wind, holiday memories, simple flowing silhouettes, flea markets, and the quiet beauty of lasting things.

Foli – La créatrice

The designer

My name is Lucia and I founded Foli in 2024.

Trained in fashion design and pattern making in Paris, I felt the need to create with a real purpose. A freer, slower and more intentional approach. I was naturally drawn to sustainable fashion, imperfect materials, traces of time, and everything that already tells a story.

Creating Foli allowed me to bring together everything I love: sourcing materials, imagining a silhouette, building a pattern, and then sewing. Each piece passes through my hands, from the initial idea to the final finishing touches, in my workshop.

Through Foli, I aim to offer a more conscious vision of fashion: a sensitive, thoughtful, human-scale creation, where quality, time and emotion matter more than quantity.

Foli – Une démarche logique

A logical approach

Today, the fashion industry produces at an excessive pace: billions of garments are made every year, often worn only a few times before being forgotten or discarded.

Behind this overproduction lie very real consequences: waste of raw materials, significant water consumption, intensive transport, growing textile waste, and the gradual disappearance of traditional craftsmanship.

In contrast to this prevailing model, I have chosen a different path.

Foli is based on a simple idea: creating from what already exists, producing in limited quantities, and giving time back to the making process. Each piece requires research, attention, reflection and manual work. Nothing is standardised, nothing is rushed.

To dress differently is to choose less but better. It is to wear clothes that are loved for a long time, that carry meaning and a story. It is to restore value to what we wear.
